Case Aides

This position provides an opportunity to assist in providing social work services in some aspects of child protection services. You need to be a student in a social service worker or social worker program. We look for strong interpersonal skills, respect for confidentiality and a willingness to gain additional skills and knowledge. 

Position:  Case-Aide
   
Reports to: Assigned Supervisor
   
Role: Assists in providing social work services embracing any or all aspects of the agency's Child Welfare Services.
Responsibilities:

• Become acquainted with and follow agency policies and procedures for all aspects of the agency's  Child Protection Services.
• Administrative and recording duties for any assigned cases.
(Policy prohibits students being assigned abuse cases).
• Casework with children and/or their parents as assigned.
• Liaise with other agencies in the community or other Children's Aid Societies may be required.
• Attend case conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops which may enhance professional growth and learning. 

Qualifications:

• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Respect for Confidentiality.
• Full time attendance in a Social Work Program.
